Chris Leben is a former UFC star and was a contestant on the reality show "The Ultimate Fighter". Before contracting Covid, he had recently opened up a combat sports gym on Pacific Beach in San Diego. In mid-January, Chris contracted Covid for a second time. He had pretty mild symptoms and thought he was over with it. A week later, on February 1, 2022, he was hospitalized and developed serious lung issues and pneumonia. This was his first public announcement about being hospitalized. He goes dark for a few days on Facebook and then shares these posts. He "didn't tap"! On February 20th, while still hospitalized, Chris shared this video. He states how lucky he is in life and how he survived this. He's not out of the woods yet. Then, on March 5th, he was finally out of the hospital and shared this video. "1% better every day". On March 6th, he shared his story about what happened to him medically and the personal journey he went through. He does advise that he was unvaccinated. We hope you get better Chris! Originally, I was planning to give you all a compilation of past stories that had interesting commentary from anti-vaxxers and their friends. I stumbled upon a story we featured over a month ago and noticed a lot has happened since. As I was digging more into her story, I realized Lori deserved her own feature. This is gonna be an interesting ride. Lori and her friends are quite the cast of characters. They have homemade Covid treatments and believe the hospitals are purposely killing you. Get the popcorn out, I think you're going to really enjoy this one. Jump to comments. Lori was a preschool school teacher in the late 90's and then became a homeschool mom in 2001. Lori is EXTREMELY religious and political, and proudly shares her views on Facebook. She's also an EXTREME anti-vaxxer. She's pretty dramatic. We'll start with this post she made on February 19, 2021. She's expressing her anger toward her daughter Selene. This will come back into play later when she's sick with Covid. Selene calls out her mother for being an abuser. 👀 A few days later, she takes another stab at calling out her daughter. Selene doesn't take the bait. #TeamSelene And one last 🗡️🗡️. Selene doesn't take the bait again. #TeamSelene We'll move on from Lori vs her daughter and jump right into Lori's anti-vaxx stance. Lori has hundreds of anti-vaxs posts so I'll just share a few. Not even her son's doctor could persuade her thinking. Then she posted this on 1/14 and 1/15/22. (Hint: she's sick at this point.) She then advised her friends to not take Remdesivir when they go to the ER. (Hint: she's in the ER.) Her friend's suggestions are quite entertaining. 🍿🍿 On 1/16/22, this is her first mention that she's not doing well and has Covid. She has friends telling her to take horse dewormer, friends sending her "protocol instructions", Dr. Mccullough's homemade recipe, homemade hydroxychloroquine and a special vegetable soup recipe that will cure her. You can't even make this shit up. Then she shares that a doctor revealed the truth to her and she has the report to prove it. She must feel very special to have such important information. 🤪🤪🤪🤪 She has to take another dig at Dr. Fauci. Five days later she shared this "guilt trip" post meant for her daughter Selene. Her friends also chime in again with advice on how to treat Covid. Selene doesn't take the bait. 😎 BTW, Selene is the complete opposite of her mother. #TeamSelene Back to Lori. She has finally announced that she has Covid and she's in the ICU on a BIPAP. She really doesn't want to go on a ventilator. Again, she's very dramatic in most of her posts. It's selfie time. Sympathy shot. 📷 It sounds like she's going on the ventilator. More FB doctors in the comment section. And who is her friend that had to let her know about getting her cell service back? 🤷‍♀️ Are you still with me? Ok. She then goes dark after her 1/30 post and reappears on 2/21. Hallelujah! She's the first person to get off the ventilator. Such a lucky gal. It's rare for us to see anti-vaxxers publically thanking the healthcare workers. 👏 This is the only praise that she'll get from me. She's now asking about nursing homes. 😬 Come on, God! She has a lot of time to worry about what's on the news. She wants America First! She sure asks for a lot of prayers. Her friends must be tired from all of the praying. Only 10 more days. Woo hoo! She finally got a shower. She's really aged in the hospital. It looks like she has a lot of time on her hands to still get a dig in. On this post from 3/6/22, Lori's friend asked her if she was vaccinated or had the booster. Lori responded that she has too much information on the ingredients and potential side effects and she doesn't trust the CDC.. 🤦‍♀️ Oh shit, she posted the Angel of Death. In the HCAz world, we know this is NOT a good sign. This was her last post made on 3/7/22. It doesn't sound good. Update: She just shared this today while laying in a hospital bed. We'll have to wait and see how this all ends. Why would anyone want to risk going through almost two months of this? If Lori makes it, I, unfortunately, don't foresee her changing her views. Another middle-aged man who had a lot of life left to live. Harlan Hulsey was living a great life with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was big in the race car world. Harlan is now just another anti-vaxxer who mocked Covid, was hospitalized for more than 100 long days, and then died from the thing he mocked. Jump to comments. Here are some of the anti-vaxx things that Harlan shared. He shared anti-vax posts up until a few days before he was hospitalized with Covid. On 10/16/21, Harlan was hospitalized with Covid. It's very "tuff" to catch his breath. He's assumed that he only had two more weeks and then he's back to normal. Harlan is trying everything to get home to his wife and puppies. Shitty way to spend your 25th wedding anniversary. At least he recognized that he was making his wife’s life a living hell. By 1/13/22, he's been hospitalized for 80 days. Jimmy was a proud veteran and patriot, having served in both the Army and Navy. He served in the Navy aboard the USS Merrill and USS Philippines during operations in the Persian Gulf. According to his obituary, he pursued modeling, boxing, and his most recent passion was acting. In recent years, Jimmy acted in numerous films and shows and was recently cast in a major part in a Netflix series. Jump to comments. This is his acting career, which seemed to really kick off in 2019. Unfortunately, he was very political, and I have a hunch this is what led to his unvaccinated status. His Covid journey starts here. On New Year's Eve, he let everyone know that he'd tested positive. He's not doing well. He checked into the hospital and had time to take a selfie. At this point, he thinks he's at the Westin and is demanding another mattress. His friend takes over his FB to ask for help. Ugh! 🤬 Jimmy's sister now takes over with updates. First off, what do you think she means by this post which was shared while Jimmy was hospitalized? 🤔 I think the nurse was being facetious. Here we go again, another anti-vaxxer who effed around but her partner is doing the finding out. Let me introduce you to Courtney Jean Moore and her husband Brandon Moore. Brandon is the one finding out. He had no public anti-vaxx posts, but Courtney made up for his lack. Brandon was only 31 years old and had two young daughters and a son. Courtney was sharing anti-vaxx posts right up to when Brandon contracted Covid. Aaaaaaand...here we go with "unspoken prayers". Prayer warriors are activated. The money "hand" shot. Relevant Bible passages activated. More oofs. 😢 Brandon heal... 11 days away from his family. No expense was spared in the promotion of this GoFundMe. This update doesn't sound good at all. The vaccine sounds so much easier. And Brandon sadly earned his HCA on February 16, 2022. Two days later, his friends ran a Garth Brooks tickle raffle and are holding a "2022 Spring Charity Ride" for Brandon's family. Brandon was only 31 years old. Don't think it can't happen to you. Douglas James Hall, or DJ to his friends, was a driver for Nexhaul Trailer Company. He was married with a son and stepdaughter. On paper, he comes across as a typical, boring person, just your average anti-vaxxer. But we at the HCAz think he deserves a feature, as he had two things going for him. As usual, we will start by boring you with his anti-vax rhetoric, before we get to the juicy bits. As you can see, Douglas is not coy; he tells it as it is. He believes it's all scaremongering. He sure is cocky. Ok, here we go. Douglas has done his fucking around, now he is about to find out. I don't think he is cocky anymore. I do admire his optimism. He updates. By the way, keep in mind the date of the first hospital post. He lol's. Obviously, it can't be that bad. More updates. What! No more lol, Douglas? WOW! It took Covid four days to dispatch Douglas. Ok, to be honest, he had no chance. He didn't even give himself a fighting chance by getting vaccinated. But kudos to him for not wanting to be a drain to the system and his family. Church pastors have a lot of influence on their congregations and with that comes a lot of responsibility. How many people have taken Covid advice from a pastor like the grifter Greg Locke? Medical professionals and religious leaders who are anti-vaxxers piss me off the most. Here are two stories of anti-vaxx pastors who spread miscommunication and paid the ultimate price with their life. Travis Collins Name: Travis Collins Age: 48 Home: West Plains, MO Died: January 15, 2022 Travis was the Lead Pastor at China Union Church. Travis and his wife Marla were another couple who shared a Facebook account (seems to be a trend in the anti-vaxxer world). Here are some of the thoughts they had prior to contracting Covid. A very creative way to guilt your congregation into giving your church more $$$. It starts off with the "unspoken prayers" which equates to "we're embarrassed to let everyone know that we have Covid". The next announcement is that he is home and then right back in the hospital. They're both sick and struggling. Pastor Travis had to be moved to a different hospital and is in the ICU. Prayer warriors are activated. He's now on a ventilator. Booya! They need a miracle and God is the miracle worker! He's holding strong and then the next day his kidneys start failing. He now needs a hospital where he can get dialysis. This doesn't sound good. And Travis sadly goes home to Jesus. Christopher Miller Name: Christopher Miller Age: 67 Home: Hamburg, NY Died: December 25, 2021 Chris is the pastor at Hope Christian Center. They are "Born Again, Water Baptized, Spirit Filled, On Fire believers in Jesus Christ-THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES!" According to his obituary, Chris wasn't married and has no children. Unfortunately, he was quite the anti-vaxxer. Chris Miller shared a lot of anti-vaxx messaging on both his personal and church group's pages. This is Pastor Chris’s assistant at the church. Everyone is battling sinus issues? This sounds like a lot more than sinuses. Confirmed "covid pneumonia". I'd like to know from a medical professional if you use the term "covid pneumonia". We see it used a lot by anti-vaxxer families. Chris is getting better. Is this the cat bounce? While Pastor Chris is hospitalized with Covid, the church assistant posted this in the church's FB group. She's doubling down! 👀 Yup, it was the cat bounce. The ventilator is back to 100%. Pastor Chris earns his Herman Cain Award. There seems to be a little drama. This post was written on Chris’s page by his assistant, Lisa. (I'm assuming it was Lisa). This is from Mark Miller, Chris’s nephew. 👀 More drama. The funeral is on 1/8/22. Mark Miller (Chris’s nephew) contracted covid from Pastor Chris’s funeral. It looks like someone wanted to keep Covid hush hush. Comments from the 1/12/22 post... It looks like a ton of family members passed last year. I couldn’t find out who or why. Now Dave Miller (Mark’s father and Pastor Chris's brother) is on life support and it doesn’t sound good. He never confirmed Covid but stated that he had pneumonia. Did he also contract Covid at the funeral? We don't have the answer to that. Poor Mark. Now his father Dave passed away. Mark Miller seemed to have a lot more sense than his uncle. Get vaccinated. (Update 3/4/22): After 8 months, Jesse Shane Boshears passed away. See below. We saw the news of Vaxman having COVID and thought we'd jump in to help out. Since the start of the pandemic, the CDC reports that 5,681 people ages 18-29 years have passed away due to COVID. At Herman Cain Awards we tend to tread lightly on young adults. I was carefree once and felt invincible during my college years. Jesse Boshears is a 6'3, 300-pound offensive lineman who had just proposed to his high school sweetheart and was about to start football practice with Arkansas Tech. The college years are the ones you look back on and reminisce about. I can only imagine all the fun and excitement he was about to embark on before COVID changed all of that. This is going to be a very long story as Jesse has been hospitalized for 7 months. Click here to jump to the comment section. On June 28, 2021, Jesse tested positive for COVID. He was admitted to UAMS the next day. At the beginning of the pandemic, Jesse recognized all the healthcare workers, including his mother, Shelly. Shelly Crain Vincent is a radiologic technologist and, according to LinkedIn, she's also a CT technologist. I'm going to share some of Shelly's antivax posts that were made prior to Jesse's hospitalization. She posted about the grifters at Frontline Doctors, good ole' Junior's rant on immigrants + covid and other antivax articles. Jesse didn't share or post any antivax messaging other than a few that his mom tagged him in. This is the last antivax post that Shelly shared. It was posted on the same day Jesse tested positive. I wonder if they tried treating Jesse with the 2020 antivaxxer favorite drug, Hydroxychloroquine? And of course, there's always that one friend with their anecdotal evidence. A week later, Jesse was moved to the ICU. His family and friends had a prayer vigil in the parking lot of the hospital. On 7/6/21, Shelly shared this video and wrote: "I know sometimes I miss a text or call from people who are asking about Jesse. Please know I’m trying to return everyone's messages and calls as fast as I can but I decided to share this news with everyone so that God would know how thankful we are! #StandStrong #JesusStrong #JesseStrong #ThankYouJesus" By this point, Jesse had been on the ECMO and a ventilator for a full week. 😔 August - September 2021 There were a lot of ups and downs. They tried weaning Jesse off his sedation, he got a tracheotomy and a bedsore from being in the hospital for almost 3 months. October 2021 October was a very rough month. Jesse had a stroke, the possibility of needing a lung transplant, a sacral wound from being in the bed for so long, and the worry of all of the potential issues associated with being on the ECMO for such a long period. November 2021 - January 2022 Shelly was told that Jesse is no longer eligible for a lung transplant, the ECMO went up and down, he went off the vent for a short time and then back on. Jesse's doctor advised that he doesn't think his lungs will get better and is not sure what else he can do to improve them. 😔 February 2022 Jesse has now been accepted for further care at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Texas. They're currently waiting for an ECMO and a bed to open up. THV11 did a segment on Jesse and KATV is working with Shelly on a new story. According to the THV11 article, Jesse's family is now VACCINATED! I'm hopeful that this new hospital is the answer they've been waiting for. Thank you to all of the healthcare workers that have worked during this pandemic. I can only imagine how many people have cared for and worked on Jesse, and he's just one part of the larger story. I'm still anxiously awaiting a time in the near future when we no longer have any more stories to write. But for now, we have a few more coming your way. Paul Vaccaro is an interesting character. According to our anedotal evidence, he holds the record for the most anti-vaxx posts. Let's see where this leads him. In early 2020, Paul started living a retired life after 30 years with Publix. Paul was very passionate about the Confederacy. I'm not a history buff but I do know that this was the side fighting to keep slavery, and also the side that LOST. Paul is so into this that he dressed up as a Confederate soldier on one of his most sacred days. Paul's other passion was Trump. The Trump obsession seems to be another trend we find within the anti-vaxx world. I can share hundreds of his anti-vaxx posts but I'll give you just a sample. I knew I'd find a Rittenhouse and an Angel of Death in his feed. In one of his posts, he mentioned that he'd love to shake the Washington trooper's hand. If you recall, that trooper lost his job due to the vaccine mandate...then died from Covid. This was his last public post. Seems quite fitting. He gets hospitalized in early February and is quickly put on a ventilator. His friend is hopeful that he's gonna beat this. And sadly, Paul passed away on March 2, 2022. Don't be a Paul. Last year was the deadliest for active-duty law enforcement in nearly a century, with COVID-19 identified as the leading cause of death for both 2020 & 2021. "Some 458 local, state, tribal and federal officers died in the line of duty in 2021, according to a preliminary report from the National Law Enforcement Memorial and Museum (NLEOMF). That makes an increase of 55% from the previous year's tally of 295 and the highest total number since 1930." With Covid as the leading cause of death for police, why are police unions still resisting the vaccine? I have some thoughts on this but I'll never comprehend why so many in law enforcement are anti-vaxxers. Today, I'm going to share three stories from anti-vaxx police officers who contracted Covid. Wayne got hospitalized due to Covid at the end of November. GoFundMe was activated by end of January. Lots of family and friends were asking for prayers. On January 23, he's finally awake and able to post again on Facebook. On 2/26, he's back in the ICU. He sadly passed away on March 1, 2022. Todd Nestor Name: Todd Nestor Age: 43 Home: Kingwood, West Virginia Current Condition: Hospitalized Todd Nestor is a Deputy Sheriff at Preston County Sheriff's Office. He resigned from the Kingwood Police Department due to a dispute with a drug investigation. He later sued the mayor & city council stating that he was forced to resign because he was investigating prominent WV residents. It ended with a settlement out of court. Todd is married with five children under 18 years old. Here are his Covid thoughts. He then shared this on February 26, 2022. He contracted Covid in October 2021. He was hospitalized for almost two months. It sounds like he has a long road ahead of him. Of course, GoFundMe was activated. He wasn't as popular as Wayne, above. John Starks Name: John Starks Age: 70 Home: Jeffersonville, Indiana Died: December 8, 2021 John Starks proudly served as a police officer for the Clark County Sheriff's Department since 1974. That is 47 years in law enforcement. He was known as a workaholic. He leaves behind his wife and two sons. He was quite the public anti-vaxxer. He sadly passed away on December 8, 2021. But wait, there's some drama after his passing on his vaccination status. Line of duty death? After his death, friends shared on FB that he was indeed vaccinated. It's shockingly rare that spouses or loved ones of an anti-vaxxer publicly push the Covid vaccine after their loved one suffers a horrible death due to Covid. You'd assume the hospitalized anti-vaxxer would have a "Coming to Jesus" moment after their bout with Covid and sing "Get Vaccinated" from the rooftops. You may recall the epiphany that came way too late for anti-vaxxer CY Nunez. I'm going to share a few stories of anti-vaxxers from SAV and HCAz who survived Covid, to see where they are now. He popped back on to let us know that he had the flu 😉 and then he got hospitalized on January 30. He advised he'd been out of work due to Covid since January 7, 2022. He still had time to shitpost while hospitalized. He's out of the hospital by February 4 and a GoFundMe is already in motion. He needs that money since he's been out of work for a month. He's only asking for a hand up. This dude not only shitposted while in the hospital with Covid, but he also continued day in and day out after. He's now dealing with Covid tongue 🤷‍♀️ and some other issues. It doesn't look like Frank will ever change his mind. Linda & Jim Lawrence Brewer Name: Jim Lawrence Brewer Age: 66 Name: Linda Brewer Age: 65 Home: Loco, Oklahoma Publicly Announced Covid: December 3, 2021 "Linda Jim Lawrence Brewer" have a husband and wife joint Facebook page, though we believe Linda is the main culprit on the FB feed. Here are some of their antivax posts prior to contracting Covid. On December 5, 2021, they announced they had Covid and were both hospitalized. Linda's a tad dramatic. She gives daily updates on their status. I'll spare the full details and give you just a taste. On December 15, 2021, she shared this. She does a ton more videos but again I'll spare you. She's finally off O2. She's finally home! They're actually both home. One day at a time. She shared this on 12/30/21. 👀👀👀 Did they change their ways? So where are they now? They're living life. 🤷 Dr. Mark Gray Name: Mark Gray Age: 53 Home: DC Publicly Announced Covid: October 1, 2021 If you've been following SAV for a while, you probably remember Dr. Mark Gray. You can read his antivax story here and then come back to see what's he up to. He posted this photo of himself on October 17, 2021 and was out of the hospital not too long after. I thought I'd give you a quick story that we just featured at HCAz Facebook as we're still working on a new compilation. Hopefully, you'll get two stories today! 🥳 I'm going to call this segment, "WTF were you thinking?" Let me introduce you to Jennifer Rowe and her mother Gail Colgan. Jennifer was a 36-year-old, Type 1 Diabetic who was in need of a kidney transplant. Another one who should have been first in line to get vaccinated. According to her FB page, she worked as a care coordinator for a company that provides proton therapy. This company provides "comprehensive patient care and leading-edge technology, offering one of the most advanced cancer treatments in the world-proton therapy". I'm hoping and assuming that she worked remotely and didn't see or work with the patients coming in to receive therapy? Jump to comments. Jennifer has been Type 1 Diabetic for 23 years and found out in early 2021 that she had stage 4 kidney disease. She was in need of dialysis and a kidney transplant. Jennifer was also antivax before it was even "cool". You probably guessed that she was also antivax during the pandemic. Her mother Gail is a serial anti-vaxxer on Facebook. In early January 2022, Jennifer had a stroke and was hospitalized for two weeks. Fast forward to 2/5/22 - Jennifer has been fighting Covid for 12 days. She has "Covid pneumonia" and is in the ICU. Gail has hope. Update on Jen. She looks good but she's just exhausted. No big deal because the ventilator is off. 🎉 Jennifer has definitely been dealt a bad hand healthwise, but a vaccine would have been her best defense against Covid. This is not a good update. Sadly, Jennifer passed away on February 28, 2022 and earned her Herman Cain Award. I don't know, but WTF was Jennifer thinking? Please get vaccinated. Get your booster.

According to The New York Times, testing is up and cases, hospitalizations and deaths are all down in the US. We've finally seen a major decline in HCA nominations. I hope all of our healthcare workers are feeling this too. Today, we thought we'd share a February fan favorite. Let me introduce you to Karla Ann Perry and her husband Joseph. Karla is the author of The Reformation of America. Joseph touts that he's a religious leader, speaker, author and coach/consultant. One of our readers advised that Karla is a Calvinist - a follower of John Calvin, the well-known Protestant reformer. Like any theological system, Calvinism is molded to fit a certain narrative. The apostle Paul said if you don't work then you don't eat. And Paul’s thinking doesn't contradict what Jesus said about feeding the hungry. She also mentions welcoming your neighbor but setting boundaries. This sounds like her spin to get Christians to dislike immigrants. Her spin to be a Christian but be ok with NOT giving any handouts. Blah Blah Blah Blah... Looks like we have another self-identified patriot. Joseph's thoughts on poverty. 🤬 Joseph is going to take over from here. They both contracted Covid and Karla ends up in the hospital. 😔 The ventilator is off the table but it's back on the next day. And it‘s officially back on. Joseph needs five specific prayers. Do you think their friends write these requests down so they can remember the five exact things they need to pray for? Karla needs healing from this demonic pneumonia. I know something really simple that could have helped with this. 🤔 Prayer warriors are activated. Here we go. He's asking about "alternative" medication. AKA, horse dewormer, or some other anti-vaxxer protocol. The hospital is now allowing him to physically see her because all of those prayers worked. God is good. 🥳 Her fever is back and the ventilator is down. And by the next day, she had a major setback. Karla is still on the ventilator. Joseph continues to anoint her for healing, sings for her, and lays his hands on her. Karla now has blood clots and the doctors are worried about her oxygen levels not coming up. It doesn't sound good. At this point, she's been on a ventilator for two weeks. The vent goes up to 100% and then back down again. Up and down, up and down. He's missing his Valentine. 😔 Today Jesus is the only good news. To me, it sounds like Jesus isn't doing a good job. GoFundMe is activated. He had to make sure that everyone knows that he isn’t asking for a handout and wasn’t aware of the GoFundMe until now. Sure, Jan! 😉 On 2/15/22, the doctors are out of options. We stumbled upon Rachael D’Avanzo by accident. We were working on a different anti-vaxxer story and it led us to Rachael. Rachael has five beautiful young children. She's only 39 years old and the epitome of health. She was promoting an online HITT fitness class at the beginning of the pandemic and got married in mid-2020. Jump to comments. First, I'm going to take a step back and show you how one of our HCA spies discovered Rachael. We recently featured anti-vaxxer Leila Needles-Blakely on Facebook HCAz. She was living the life in Oregon, spending precious time with her granddaughter and selling vintage collectibles through her online business. Unfortunately, her politics influenced her health decisions. Here's a sample of her antivax posts. The announcement of Leila's death led our HCA spy to Rachael. A comment on her post is what instigated the investigation. So let's get back to Rachael. Rachael was quite the anti-vaxxer on FB. Let's see some of the garbage that she shared. The Angel of Death (Ms. Candace Owens) makes an appearance and that's never a good sign. 😱 As we’re scrolling through Rachael’s feed, we find this. Her friend Jon passed away. I know what you're thinking. Another friend? After already discovering two Covid deaths within this friend group, we had to dig further. We learned that Jon had also passed away due to Covid. Jon’s son-in-law Bill got Covid first and had to go to the hospital. Then his daughter contracted it, as did Jon and his wife the following month. We also learned that Jon’s good friend Steve died from Covid in August 2021. WTF! I don’t know about you, but since the vaccine was released, I sure don't have friends and family dying left and right from Covid. We didn’t find any antivax posts on Jon’s feed but we did find confirmation that he only needed God to protect him. Jon, it's a pretty easy decision. You FAFO! So let's get back to Rachael again. We found no mention that Rachael was sick or hospitalized until her death announcement. It all seemed to be very hush-hush. I wonder why they're so secretive? RIP Rachael. When you think it can’t happen to you, COVID will prove differently. How many more children are going to lose a parent? I am so grateful for those who are way smarter than me, who developed this vaccine.The vaccine is our best line of defense. Please get vaccinated. Get your booster.

Jason Osborne, 52, Whitesburg, KY, Antivaxxer, Dead from COVID When I first came across Jason, I thought his story would be the usual: antivaxxer shitposts, antivaxxer ends up in hospital, antivaxxer dies, end of story. But with Jason it didn't really end with his death; a whole new set of drama ensued, started by his widow. UPDATE(2/25/22): Whew! Finally breaking out of the COVID rut. My fever broke yesterday, and I'm feeling MUCH better today. I slept non-stop over the past 5 days. It's the longest I haven't used a phone or computer since I can remember. In fact, I just learned yesterday that Russia invaded Ukraine! By the way, this is what ACTUAL tyranny looks like, anti-vaxxers! It's not losing your job because you are afraid of a needle. It's having cluster bombs dropping on your head. I gotta say, even having COVID for a week, and even having the less dangerous Omicron, it really drove home just how wicked this virus can be. I kept thinking of all of these people who suffered for months on their deathbeds simply because they wouldn't get vaccinated. Even if it wasn't life threatening, why not get vaccinated so that you don't have so suffer so much? I still don't understand and don't think I'll ever understand the herd mentality of conservatives that drive them to harm themselves so much. I gotta say, even having COVID for a week, and even having the less dangerous Omicron, it really drove home just how wicked this virus can be. As an aside, my constant fever dream over the past 5 days was me scrolling through imaginary anti-vaxxer facebook profiles. It was awful. Original Post (2/21/22): First: yes, thank God I'm vaccinated! Second, this Omicron variant is NOT a cold! Over the past four days I've been more sick than I've ever been. It's definitely the worst sore throat I've ever had. This virus sucks. I don't know why they all say it's "mild"; it's anything but mild. I know two other people who got it at the same time I did; all of us were fully vaxxed and all of us were more sick than we'd ever been. Me -- let's just say I'm an elderly gentleman -- a 40 year old man and a 26 year old woman have all been suffering from this "mild" virus. But this could be the "Stealth Omicron" which is supposed to be worse than the originial. So, while down with this I got to reading about Omicron, and how almost all of the mutations help it spread better than the other coronaviruses. The best article is from Scientific American. You can read it here. Turns out the other variants use two receptors to enter a cell, the ACE2 you've heard of and TMPRSS2. Not all cells have TMPRSS2, so Omicron can infect a much wider variety of cells. Lung tissues do have this TMPRSS2, so Delta for instance tends to find those cells to infect, but Omicron can still infect lungs. This article says it has but one weakness: Omicron signals the innate immune system, which is done through Interferon response. Well, the lungs use this Interferon response much more readily than the upper respiratory system, so the lungs are more protected from Omicron than the other variants. So, the worst variant would be Omicron without this signaling of Interferon. If a variant like that ever happens: watch out. Anyway, I guess it really is less dangerous than Delta, but believe me when I say that you don't want this. Talk amongst yourselves. I should be back posting soon, hopefully tomorrow.

When I started digging into Wayne's story I thought he would be just another typical anti-vaxxer. The big shift that we've seen over the last few months has been anti-vaxxer family members fighting the hospitals over medically treating their loved ones with the so-called "Covid protocol". Let me introduce you to 62-year-old Wayne Doyle. He owned and operated both Wayne Doyle Construction and Industrial Fire Protection. Wayne also served for 40 years in the Lowndes County District 3 Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter, and most recently was Chief of District 3. The Lowndes County District 3 Volunteer Fire Department stated on their Facebook page: “Wayne was passionate about training and helping firefighters grow their skills. He has left a lasting impression on our department and community." The U.S. Fire Administration is viewing his death as contracting COVID while on duty. More on that in a bit. Link to comments. Here are some of the anti-vax posts that Wayne shared. One of them was posted just two weeks prior to his wife asking for prayers. Prayer warriors are activated. I wonder what's wrong with Wayne? No mention of Covid yet. Since he had "firefighter lungs" he should have been first in line to get himself vaccinated. On 2/2/22, Janice mentioned that they would like to get him Ivermectin. She asked her friends if anyone had a way to get the protocol reconsidered. On 2/3/22, Janice is still dealing with Covid herself, and Wayne is waiting for an ICU bed to open. Things are getting progressively worse for Wayne. Janice is asking her friends to claim the blood of Jesus over his sick body (not sure what that means). On 2/6/22, the medical team gives a grave update but Janice knows the maker of all numbers. Faith over Fear. On 2/7/22, Wayne's family started sharing a post from attorney Matt Wilson. Matt was helping the family get "EYE-VER-MEK-TIN". In his Facebook post (that he later deleted), he advised that he spoke to an ICU doctor in a different hospital who had a 400-pound patient successfully removed from a ventilator after receiving Ivermectin. What are the betting odds that this really happened? Continued from his FB post above... The next three posts were all shared on 2/7/22. A hearing was set for 2/8 at 9am. I can get behind Janice's advice, below. All anti-vaxxers find a doctor who will prescribe all the Ivermectin they want, but in return they won't use ANY hospital resources. 😉 2/8/22 - The judge approved a transfer so he could get his "EYE-VER-MEK-TIN". And then, just a few short hours later... Praise Jesus, Wayne enters paradise and earns his HCA. That same night, the area first responders gathered to give a send-off to one of their own. 😔 The U.S. Fire Association stated: "While on-duty, Chief Wayne Doyle responded to numerous EMS calls where he was exposed to COVID-19". I don't know what Wayne's family is entitled to but according to the National Fallen Firefighter's Foundation, line-of-duty deaths may include both state and federal benefits which include things like medical and burial expenses, health and life insurance and retirement/pension plan. UPDATE: Janice is still posting away about medical freeDUMB! It sounds like Wayne did a lot for his community. Volunteering as a firefighter is a commendable job. You all know the typical antivaxxer type. Bruce Thomas doesn't seem to fit, except for one little piece: he's a hippie with quite the shady past. He used to party hard, and I mean HARD. He loves the ganja, he's not religious but he hates the Democrats. This last one is the one that gets him into a little trouble. Let's meet Bruce Thomas. Bruce is a self-proclaimed hippie. He loves the green. 🌿 Nothing wrong with that. I always thought that hippies loved everybody? Is he smoking a little too much ganja? I'm assuming that he tested positive for COVID but I'm not sure how the police are involved. Punctuation would help us decipher what he's talking about here. He has a lot of difficulties using the period button so let’s assume the "period" key is broken. He doesn't trust the government and he's hospitalized with COVID. 😔 Is he sending a telegraph to his friends to bring some magic gummies to the hospital? We can usually spot an antivaxxer when we see "COVID is no joke”. Bruce is finally home and he still needs prayers, but only three are needed. 🤷 One day later, he's back and in a nursing home. 😔 It sounds like he's not very happy at this nursing home. There seems to be a lot of drama happening back at his home. As we say in the HCAz world, Bruce Thomas sadly earns his HCA. Bruce Thomas lived a tough life.
