A former friend in my age group (70s) is now in the ICU with Covid. I have known him since grad school, so just over 50 years. He went full Trump after supporting Bernie in 2016, and I really chewed him out, and he told me to fuck off and lose his number. Last week, his ex-wife called me and asked me to speak with him in a group call, so I reluctantly agreed. Hardly five minutes went by when he started in with all the “stolen election” crap, and then he said that he doesn’t have Covid, even though he had a really scary cough. On this call, he was really nasty to his ex, the mother of his five kids, which saddened me so much because we had all been close for decades. I wished him well, but he didn’t respond, and then the call was terminated on his end. He looked and sounded awful so I think that he won’t be leaving there alive. I blame the Orange Slopbucket for all the hatred running rampant throughout the US, and I blame my former friend for his horrible decisions and his embrace of that abomination. There is really nothing that we can do when former friends have fallen so deep into the Cult of 45.

I was so disappointed when the Orange Slopbucket was discharged from Walter Reed Hospital after his bout with Covid.

I still mask up when inside a building, and I still haven’t boarded a flight since early February 2020. I see more and more people maskless, so I give them wide berth and keep to myself. Does anyone have any info on the new variant making the rounds in the US?

I enjoyed watching the footage of the soaking wet MAGAts trying to make their way through the mud and muck as they were leaving their “church” service. The MAGAts are thoroughly soiled and sullied by their enthusiastic support of the Orange Slopbucket. The image of them wading through the mud serves as the perfect metaphor.
