Yep, we are currently in a minor outbreak at work this week. I call it minor because one person brought it in, held a meeting last week with 5 other people. The only person in that meeting to become the next winner of Covid Roulette was the only one not vaxxed in the room. No others developed Covid. I know this is just anecdotal but I think it shows the vaccines are out performing "muh natural immunity".

My soft hearted liberal brother retired during trump and went down the fox rabbit hole. All he does is spew hate for the 'libs'. Has lost the relationship with his only child. He was actually sulking to me recently about this lost relationship and I stated to him that my relationship as Aunt was perfectly solid because I'm not an asshole. Anyway, I was quite surprised to find out he is fully vaxxed and boosted and still wears a mask because of his health issues. And he actually told me he thought people were wussies for refusing a silly little face covering. At that moment I'm thinking there might be hope, maybe we can get through to him. Then he says something racist against the VP and I have to hang up. Win some, lose some.

We’ve owned season tickets to the 49ers for over 20 years. Pretty much it’s about the money, though we do enjoy going. If they are doing well, we make enough money to sell a few games to pay for the season. If they suck we can’t sell tickets but then go to more games that season. Anyone on here that does follow sports knows what side of that coin we are in this year. Like to add we started this off years ago with inheritance I got from my grandmother who was a lifelong fan. My husband was pretty sports apathetic before that but went along for a new hobby, so I addicted him.

I live in the Bay Area so I'd assume I automatically qualify.

Came back to my work after my bout with Covid in September to an office full of sick hacking coworkers testing negative. It took out about 5 people all sitting around me and I was thinking "Oh, crap. I just got back from Covid." Missed me but here we are 2 months later and one is still hacking. They said they had a bad Covid case a year ago and never really got over that cough to now have whatever this crap going around is.

That's actually fascinating. I have allergic asthma and have been running from Covid for over 2 years. Figured when I got it I would be really sick hacking up a lung. My husband caught it in June and I managed to avoid it. He was moderately sick. Then it found me in September. I figured I'd be sicker than him. Nope, no fever, no sore throat, no body aches, no exhaustion, NO COUGHING (??). Generally a lot of sneezing for 3 days and then just boredom until I tested negative. Maybe this is why.

I'm seeing a general burnout and lack of urgency that was more prevalent during the beginning of the vaccine rollout. My husband who had 4 shots and had just gotten over covid stated he was done and tired with the whole pandemic didn't know if he was getting the next booster. My general response is that nice dear, that virus isn't done or tired go get your fucking shot. Which he now has had.

Sorry Ferry. I was to get my omicron booster tomorrow but had to cancel. Last Tuesday I had an “allergy“ attack and tested negative. Wednesday I came home from work still sneezing off and on. Had a get together with my squad that evening (all vaxxed and boosted). Hubby handed me another test and said “You don’t look well”. He had in June and I managed to avoid it. Tested positive. About the same as you. Never a fever, sore throat or body aches. No fatigue, no hacking cough. My sinuses just wanted to explode. Today is day 10. Getting my smell and taste slowly back today. Literally stuck my face in a canister of Lysol wipes a few days ago to double check my smelling abilities. I kept asking myself the first few days “Is this all?” Hubby completely boosted couldn’t get out of bed for two days. Took a nap one day out of boredom and have slept just fine through the night. My company has a strict policy no one with a positive test allowed at work be damned CDC guideline. So here I am on day 10 still testing positive. It’s a good thing I live in Commiecalifornia and Governor Newsom has given us all 80 hours Covid sick pay. The worse is wondering “is this going to go south at any minute?”. And Mara the cat. I have become her human since my daughter moved across the country for grad school over a year ago. She claws and cries at my door 😓. But we don’t want to see what Covid cat would be like.

Of course they are trolling. I can't believe they weren't banned from the last fiasco.

Now, don't get me wrong you know this isn't going to make sense. I think it was in a screen shot somewhere on SAV this morning some nutjob claimed the reason we don't know the names of any of the "mules" is because of something to do with whistleblowers? blah, blah, blah...........word salad.......my eyes are rolling back into my head. At this point in life my brain just tunes stupid out. Its an auto reflex now just like swatting flys.

My hubby complained to his doctor about having issues (btw he has a heart condition so was completely checked out) And doctor told him to look into this.
