FIRMS has identified shelling of the ZNPP today. All were acquired around 11:00 GMT. One fire is dangerously close to the reactors. The Russians are insane to be doing this, especially since the prevailing winds are blowing into Russia! So far surrounding radiation sensors are normal.

It looks like the Russians have finally come to their senses. There was no shelling at ZNPP today.

I use Windy a lot to follow lightning strikes. Great suggestion to use it to follow possible radiation spread! Right now the prevailing winds over the ZNPP are SW - away from Russia. A release of radiation now would be bad news for Moldova, Romania and Bulgaria.
