Hi Folks....new member here.....I have been vaccinated x3, and fortunately have avoided covid infection thus far. I live in a Senior's residence, and we have had a recent spike in infections in the residence, which began with an unvaccinated individual.....Five people have contracted the virus, but all have recovered. One resident, a retired RN(who worked on a SARS ward in Toronto during 2003). who had been vaccinated, said she became so ill, she figures if she hadnt been vaccinated, she would have had to gone to hospital and possibly ventilated. I believe Covid is here to stay, we are simply experiencing a lull in the general public due to our weather improving.....I am at the stage I have zero sympathy for those folks who pass from covid who weren't vaccinated(unless due to a medical reason) If people dont have enough proof that vaccination saves lives by now.....then there really is no helping them, is there?.......
