I was last sick at the end of January 2020 with what I now suspect was original flavor Covid-19. I am 5X vaxxed, haven't worn a mask except where required since March 2022 and last weekend spent two hours in a crowded restaurant. I've tested several times after events or when my allergies were acting up but have never tested positive or felt sick. I could very well have had one or more asymptomatic cases, though.

Canadian-American here so I have a bit of the same aversion to the c-word although it doesn't offend me as much as it used to. I have always been partial to the word, "twat", instead as it sounds funnier and isn't as likely to offend.

I reported many an individual in my final days on facebook. None ever resulted in a suspension as far as I could tell. Facebook sucks. I get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach even thinking about going on it. I do enjoy the screen caps that are posted here on the individual SAV entries.

I have a self-imposed time out that's going on 649 days now. Back when I was a regular user (10+ years) I never received a timeout. My husband did get a twitter suspension for commenting "hang 'em high" on some tweet about some school shooter or something (can't remember precisely).

I do a test if I have any symptoms that could possibly be covid. I also did one before attending a party in May. I have not been knowingly exposed to anyone who has covid so I haven't taken one in the situation you describe. I have a co-worker who was in that situation and he took tests daily after being informed he'd been exposed. He didn't test positive until day 5. On the other hand, I have other coworkers who tested positive a day after arriving home from a company meeting and learning that people they met with had tested positive the day before. All may have been exposed a few days' prior, though.

Crap, I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. What kind of a "friend" assumes they can't get covid again so soon and exposes someone else? I hope that she will be able to overcome this and recover fully.

My idiot cousin who lives in Toronto caught covid from her adult kid in May. Her husband and both kids got sick. All of them were unvaxxed because [insert any stupid reason favored by an AV]. She ended up with pneumonia but was not hospitalized. Sick for a month and now complaining of long covid but boasting about the super immunity she has now. I just can't with these people.

I absolutely despised this song when it was popular. I was just barely a teenager and it really grated on me. Another one I hated from the same era was "After the Lovin" by Englebert Humperdinck. 🤢
