From the "drafts I was afraid to post the first time, because of fat shaming potential". However, I feel the need to be complete, especially when the SAVer was a nurse. According to this obituary, Lucinda died on November 11, 2021. She was a registered nurse and worked at Northcrest Rehab and Nursing Center, which clearly didn't have any vaccine mandate. She rarely posted on Facebook, only to update her profile picture or her cover photo. However, like a lot of antivaxxers on this site, she did state her vaccine status, just before getting COVID, saying she "trusts her immune system". Not sure why; given her age and her weight issue, she was a bullseye in the middle of the comorbidity target range. I don't understand how an RN didn't know better. Again...this is why there are mandates in healthcare.
This will be quick. A story in four screenshots. These first two posts were both on October 6, 2021.

RIP Lucinda.
I started fat shaming. Kill me. The reason was I used to smoke cigarettes and I we were shamed non-stop. Lung cancer, heart attacks etc...and true. I quit 2 years ago. Extremely difficult. So we also know being overweight and obese is not good for your health. Just like I was non-stop smoke shamed to my face daily so shall the fat person waiting for a heart attack a heart attack to happen and lung disease. People are kind when fat shaming. They are mean and right in our faces when smoke shaming. So there. And, the fucking anti-vaxxers...
Can we please start a Covid 19 "glamourshots" page? Maybe we can hook up antivaxxers and they can have at it.
Very disappointing to see these people so mislead. Especially those who have had medical training.
Oddly, one sees the meme "I trust my immune system" (as if the rest of us don't trust it), a false dichotomy. In fact when the very trustworthy immune system is working normally, this disease can still kill! All it has to do is replicate more rapidly than the immune system's antibodies, and it will tear a person up.
Vaccines help a normal immune system react normally, but recognize a threat more quickly. It is like training for the immune system. Nothing wrong with that, but these people try to claim that taking the vaccine is a worse option than toughing it out and taking…
How as a nurse do you not understand how an immune system works?
I looked up her home town of Leipsic. I think she was the homecoming queen. The prettiest girl in town.
