Lawerence and Lydia Rodriguez, La Marque, TX both died from COVID-19. Didn't believe in Vaccines.

Updated: Jan 28, 2022

According to this story and this story, Lawerence and his wife Lydia didn't believe in vaccines. They both became hospitalized. Lawerence died a month before Lydia who died August 16, 2021.

Lydia's cousin Dottie Jones tells us, "They didn't believe in vaccines. You try to talk to them, and she just didn't like that. Didn't trust it, I guess."

Once she was in ICU, Lydia changed her mind about the vaccine and asked to get it, but doctors told her it was too late.

"Before she got intubated, one of the last things she told her sister was 'Please make sure my children get vaccinated,' Jones said. "It's hard to do that in hindsight. To think that she wouldn't be there. She would be there for her kids right now if she had been vaccinated."

Their four children have been orphaned by a single bad decision.

I wonder how kids like this are doing. I hope the kids do get vaccinated.

These ones where children are orphaned are just so heartbreaking, especially the ones with young kids. I lost my dad to cancer a few years ago when he was 66 and it just crushed me and I was almost 40. I just can't imagine being like 12 and having both of your parents gone within weeks. There's some schadenfreude to some of these grifter politician/radio hosts/bigots getting their comeuppance here but posts like this are just sad.

I know how the kids feel. I lost my mom when she was 61 from smoking related causes. I felt angry and ripped off at the sake time.

Same here. My mom died at 55 when I was 25 from her addiction to nicotine. 30 yrs ago, and I'm still not over it.

I wonder if they are JWs. Sounds like it. But a lot of people buy into that fundamentalist rightwing crap. They are so lacking in education and information that it is easy for them to fall into a rightwing trap.
