This entry is about second chances. Chris is an anti-vaxxer. He caught COVID back in the spring of 2021, and his condition was so severe that he's been trying to recover ever since. He still has a trache for oxygen and is confined to a wheelchair. This is going to be a long, arduous journey, but his wife, Crystal, is a Nurse Practitioner, which helps as she can pitch in on taking care of him and helping him with his rehabilitation.This is one of those life lessons you learn from and grow from. Let's check in on Chris and see where he's been and where he is going. I strongly advise going through each post below sequentially and not skipping anything. Life is precious.

Well, he got COVID. Not sure exactly when -- maybe March 2021. In any event, he was on the ECMO in April 2021:

Since then, Crystal has been posting his progress throughout his recovery and rehab.
He had a recurrence of pneumonia in November:

His fb has a very painful-to-watch video of him taking 15 steps. His feet drag, he has to bend over the walker at a 90 degree angle to propel forward. I wonder if he ever thinks, "Man, I was SO wrong!"
I'm glad he's still alive and enjoying the consequences of his poor decisions. It's one thing to be uneducated - you can always get educated. But to be willfully stupid is another matter. He gets what he deserves. And so does his idiot wife.
Something is definitely wrong with these moron Nurse Practitioners...
Is it a case of "too much education" beyond what their feeble minds can handle, or what?
Or maybe it's just a "certification" instead of an "education".
I met some NP candidates while getting my MBA at UT Austin. They were pretty sharp.
I hope they didn't turn out like this...
Nice of you, unvaxxed after a near fatal bout with Covid, availing yourself of hard to get antibody treatment. The treatments that were designed for immuno suppressed and immuno compromised patients Most of whom are the first to get vaccinated. Was it worth it? How’s your life now?
