According to this obituary, Amy died on October 21, 2021. She's survived by her 5 sons, 4 still living at home with the youngest being 8 yrs old. Amy left us some videos documenting her demise, and her commitment to remaining an anti-vaxxer. Perhaps it should be used as a PSA to all remaining anti-vaxxers?
Here is a compilation of her TikTok videos documenting her journey into the depths of COVID and her anti-vaxx position:
^^^EDIT (10/24/21): One of our readers, siva.chander, added some footage and more text to the video, which is what you see now. siva.chander also compiled an accurate timeline of all of these events. You can see her comments here: https://www.sorryantivaxxer.com/post/amy-briar-bement-47-rush-county-in-customer-service-mgr-anti-vaxx-dead-from-covid?commentId=3bcd9b01-76ee-4938-a4e7-2a0d15a67e19
She didn't make it:
RIP Amy.
I was born in Rush Memorial Hospital & grew up in Rushville, IN (Rush County). I graduated high school there & moved out of state when I was 23. I've lived in Oregon for 25 years, now. Rush Co, as well as Indiana, is very Republican. I have lots of family & friends who still live there. Most, but not all, are very anti mask/anti vax, including many of my family members. 1 of my brothers is a firefighter/paramedic, with most of his time spent on the ambulance, paramedic duties. He's told me stories of picking up Covid patients in full hazmat gear & yet still is anti vax. We don't talk politics! We can't! It's the only way to…
You stupid twat. Get out of that box.
Just checking in.
Yep.
Still dead. Good.
In another life I was the Vice President of a bank in Rushville, my 2 sons were born there. No idea if Amy was one of our customers. She fits with most of what I remember about the town, overweight, prideful and ignorant. This video is still painful to watch. Difficult to believe that there could be almost 1,000,000 more just like it and still 30% of the country is unvaccinated. Do these people wear seat belts? Do they put their kids in car seats? Take other common-sense precautions? Why choose this hill to literally die on? Two years in and I am as clueless as ever as to what it will take to get to people. Give…
Don't you love how they expect the rest of us to pay their hospital bills (and of course we will, because that's just basic humanity) and then they expect others to pay for their funerals too.
It should be a rule that to start a charity for a non-vaxer after dying of covid, the survivors first have to renounce the anti-vax position publically. I've read a lot of these now and renouncement seems to the exception.
