According to this article, Alphonzo Cox, 53 of Brandenton, Fla. died of Covid-19.
According to Alphonzo's wife, Kim Strong-Cox, "they had both considered getting the vaccine but were still concerned about things they felt were unknown."
"We were just researching and trying to follow up about the vaccine, we just wasn't ready yet," Strong-Cox said.
Too late.
I am sorry for his passing. A unified message from all sides that the vaccine is safe and effective would save lots of these undecided types. Unfortunately, one doesn't have to be strongly AV to end up dead. Sometimes a bit of hesitation is all it takes for the virus to get a foothold. If the message from all leaders of every stripe was to get the vaccine, we wouldn't need the mandates. I can hear Tucker now: "Don't let Big Brother mandate you, tell them to screw off and go get the shot all by yourself, that will show them." Not holding my breath in 3, 2, 1....
