I get the impression that a lot of Americans are simpletons who think that they're patriots, but the only aspect of the USA they care about (or understand) is the flag.

That same poor black guy likely got paid pennies to have his face be included in free stock photos to put drool and blacked out teeth on. Not sure how you feel, but adding this guy would be more apropos, as would the flag comment meant for the fake "patriots."
