As amusing as the never ending cartoons and late nite barrage of jokes were, the fact remains that a lying creep who lied his way into Congress and remains in Congress. In spite of 23 charges against him and a scathing "Ethics" committee report, he remains unpunished amd intact ... for the simple reprehensible reason that he represents a vote for the GQP. It is disgusting. Lying on your resumé costs ordinary people their jobs, but not this protected class of buffoons. Right up until yesterday, George Santos was saying he will run again if ousted. And also yesterday, he bragged that he will not step down...
"Like I said before, I'm staying in office for sure," he said. "I will take whatever comes my way the way it comes."
It comes as no surprise that these are the same shameless, spineless POS who also think that tRUMP deserves a second chance at the presidency, but that does not make it any less deplorable. Deplorable. A fitting word that extends to all Republicans because this is what they have shown themselves to be... but still far too kind. I have a heap of other words to add to that one, but will refrain. Normalizing this pack of lying scumbags is a precedent that is most welcomed by the party of Honest Abe and devout "religious" Talibangelicals. It just is not funny anymore.
UPDATE 4
Yesterday: Santos: "It's going to be a circus moving forward. It’s going to be: Oh, you’re accused, you’re getting expelled." He then goes to spill tea on those who say they will will vote to oust him. “The same colleague was accused of being a woman-beater,” Santos, replied. “We all have pasts.” Yes we do, and yours entirely fictional and criminal.
What more can I say? I don't need to say anything... as Delusionalmale added a fitting send off. The URL leads to a video of George haughtily saying that the House is in chaos... (It is, as we have seen and will be much less so now) The next video that autoplays is his ousting vote tally and the article itself is a sarcastic parody of his lying voice.
