Christian Ziegler, Florida’s GOP chairman and husband of Sarasota County School Board member and Moms of Liberty co-founder Bridget Ziegler, is under criminal investigation after a woman filed a complaint with the Sarasota Police Department alleging the longtime Republican official had raped her, according to a heavily redacted police report obtained by the Florida Trident.

The Zieglers are one of Florida’s top political power couples in the GOP. Christian Ziegler is a longtime Republican Party official who served as vice chairman of the state party prior to his election as chair in February. Prior to that he was a Sarasota County Commissioner who ran on a “family values” platform.

If true that is in itself awful. But also important to note is that the woman accuser is the couple's long time consensual menage a trois lover. I could give a crap about their sex life...

Bridget Ziegler, a Sarasota County school board member, told detectives she had no knowledge of the threesome Christian claimed to have planned on October 2, the day the sexual assault was alleged to have occurred, according to a newly released police report obtained by the Florida Trident.

“Bridget confirmed that she had participated in a threesome with [the woman] and her husband once two years ago which would have been arranged by Christian,” Sarasota police Det. Maria Llovio wrote in the report. ”Bridget said there has not been any talk about another threesome.”

Detectives found a list on Ziegler’s phonetitled “THE LIST” with the names of women under a subheading “Fuck.”

In text messages from February 2021, Christian told Bridget to “come home, stop and pick up [a woman] to play again and be crazy.” It appears he was referring to his rape accuser, whom he then said “was an alcoholic, nice person with some issues.”

“I just don’t want to feel like we ever take advantage of anyone (I know it’s always been consensual) but she seems... ‘broken’ or like she’s going through some (expletive),” Bridget answered. “I don’t know—that’s the vibe I pick up from her—and my nature is more likely to help her versus … ya know.”

Christian suggested the couple “needed to hunt for someone new,” cops stated. At another point, Christian told Bridget that the woman “thinks she is hot, and he believes she is only into her.”

Well colour me surprised. It turns out that the reason why Bridget was not forced from her school board position is because the rest of the weasels do not WANT her to resign! It was all for show, to pretend they were doing something as a show of disapproval... but they want their Partisan asshole control over the board to remain.

You see, three of the four board members who voted for Ziegler's resignation – Karen Rose, Robyn Marinelli and Tim Enos – also voted against sending a letter to Gov. Ron DeSantis to request that he remove Ziegler. [He is the only one who can] So in reality the Dec. 12 vote meant nothing for the Sarasota County school district or the students and families it serves.

It was merely a way for Rose, Marinelli and Enos to publicly demonstrate their disapproval of the disruption caused by the salacious nature of the personal affairs of Bridget Ziegler and her husband, Christian – but while also ensuring that the current conservative balance of power on the School Board was preserved.

Bridget Ziegler is no fool. There's a reason why she hasn't left Sarasota's School Board.

Florida Republican Party censures chairman Christian Ziegler

The Florida GOP Chair refuses to step down so they down hraded his pay to 1$ and stripped him of any authority.

Ziegler spoke at the meeting and apologized “that he brought shame to the party and to his family” but that he was ready to get back to work for the GOP.

After Bridget Ziegler was unable to attend she backed out, texting, “Sorry I was mostly in for her,” according to ABC Action News, which obtained the affidavit.

Weeks later, detectives began to monitor calls and messages sent by Christian Ziegler to the accuser, according to the affidavit.

“Where r u? Wanna meet and chat? Worried about you. You are my friend,” Ziegler allegedly wrote in one message via Instagram, which was set to vanish mode so as to automatically erase the messages.

“Hell no not after what you did to me,” the woman responded. “Do you not understand I am terrified of you?”

Paulina Testerman, co-founder of the nonprofit Support Our Schools, which defends public education, said that she hoped the Zieglers’ hold over the county was coming to an end. Amen, sister, but the money funnelled into these non profits is making GQP activists millionnaires. That they did not defend the chair of their party, or simply say that there is an investigation and that these are merely ellegations, gives credence to the story and further implies they may even be aware that this is true...

Jerry Falwell Jr, his wife, and pool boy and Liberty University agree, that "christian" values are for thee, not me! If the allegations are true, then the Zieglers are in good company.
