I am a high school teacher. I’ve had two moderna and a third one as a booster. Although I wear a mask, I do take it off when I have a conference hour or lunch. Mask mandates were lifted as the start of March. After several positive cases of “strep” and COVID, I finally caught it. Three tough days at home, a couple so-so days, and things look much better. With breathing issues to begin with, I am so thankful for the vaccine.
I am religious and believe God blessed the scientists and everyone else who allowed for the vaccine to be developed and work so effectively. I truly believe not taking the vaccine is turning one’s back on science and religion together. They can coexist. Me not ending up in the hospital is proof.
Universal belief: THE VACCINE WORKS!
Definitely grateful for the vaccines. Without them we would be having huge waves with many many more deaths. Not a day goes by that I'm a not thankful for the jabs that are literally saving our lives.
I thank the vaccination for letting me finish my career as a physician. At age 66 with a heart condition I was relegated to virtual visits until Jan 2021. Following 2 Moderna jabs I was back treating patients for my final planned year of work. Now retired for a few months I still pull some occasional shifts to fill in for illness and leaves of my colleagues. Without a vaccine my career would have ended abruptly and I’d be living like a hermit. With it, work and life are close to normal…
