Richard Tait was the inventor of the game Cranium, who became a multimillionaire from it and was living the good life in the Seattle area. One of those wealthy tech bros whom fortune smiled on. But he died July 25 from "'continued pulmonary complications due to COVID-19,' according to a Facebook post by his family, shared with GeekWire." He was 58.
WTF! This guy who did high-level work for MSFT for 10 years and left it to invent Cranium -- was he an antivaxxer? To die from those complications at this late date makes him sound like 1 of those goateed no-college fools. He was silent online about covid and vaccines, though, AFAIK.
here's the link to geekwire obit and a half-assed screenshot of the start of it. hard to fit in his face and the money graf.
Something that occurred more often during omicron was vaccinated people dying. Those who were up to date on boosters have been the least likely to die, but it happens. Other health issues/comorbidities a factor would be my guess.
Cait looks healthy in the photo, but may have had health issues that made covid more severe for him.
