Trump is facing some big consequences as investigations focus on the special access, above top secret, materials trump kept even after its return was demanded last spring.
Thing is there aren’t many explanations for trump having it other than giving it to hostile foreign countries in exchange for money or refuge. That’s espionage and treason. Trump is now likely a flight risk because he knows what he had and so do investigators.
What the public will know about what he kept illegally will certainly be little to none, but that is high level shit with big consequences for the country if disclosed. Trump may be counting on the needs for secrecy keeping him out of jail, but he has to have an exit strategy percolating in that tiny little evil brain.
Trump won’t care about appearances. He’s now a flight risk and my bet would be to Russia. I never really thought an ex president would ever be that dirty, but it looks like trump is a full-on spy and traitor.
And should be treated like one.
A few days ago I wrote on FB in response to a post about Trump, that if it turns out that he intended to or he did keep those Top Secret SCI so he could sell them or use them against the U.S., that I hoped he gets executed. Well, guess what? I got suspended for 30 days again. I meant it in a judicial way, after a trial. Execution over prison time. The word executed got me suspended. I just can't figure out how to tip toe around words and still get the message out. I guess I will continue to be a:
Trump is well aware of how the government is closing in on him-and he's probably shitting himself because the NY Times and the Washington Post are interchangeably running stories of what's going on.
They're running an alternating tag team of 'breaking news' on what's going down-which at the moment seems to be that Trump's lawyers lied to the DOJ about there not being any more documents at Mar-a-Lago back in June.
Except that there were, and the DOJ is not happy.
There was no reason for him to have any of those documents. None.
There's also some question of who the fuck was stupid enough to help him move t hem down there?
And of course, he's in trouble in other places as well.
you know how a rat when cornered will space out?
Trump's beyond that. Shitting himself because it's a matter of time before the indictment for treason and other capital crimes comes down,
And I can't wait! I love every fucking second of it!
PS-the June meeting at Mar-a-Lago? It was on my birthday, June 3rd. Glorious day!
That makes sense. Truly, I wouldn't be surprised if the current DOJ investigation started with Mueller's report and that Jan 6 is more fuel.
I think "FatNixon" will receive more shocking news once he catches up to the reality of the situation. IMHO, he released the unredacted warrant just before the courts because he probably thought he could muddy the waters by: (1.) revealing the FBI agents and (2.) poisoning the waters so it would limit finding a fair jury,
I don't think he realizes that when he is indicted that the trial will be held in a military court. I think that is one of the reasons why Garland was okay with releasing the redacted warrant ... as espionage cases can go to the military courts, especially with the sensitivity of the documents involved.
P.S. Newsweek released that he had payroll information for US spies
I posted this in yahoo comments to a news story("Some Trump Allies Reportedly Are Trying To 'Go Dark' Amid Search Warrant Revelations"...a repost from HuffPo) a few minutes ago, and am so pleased with it, I'll put it here. While it might not get as many views as on yahoo, the average quality of the viewer here is way above the AQoaV at yahoo.
trump extremists have 7 years of their life invested in trump reality. Few of any of those people have the integrity or ability to admit to themselves they were conned all along. Maybe somebody will come up with a program like Alcoholics Anonymous to help them bridge the gap between being taken in by a con and the day they die. Possibly even a special kind of disability check, an extension of what, in the south, has long been called a "crazy check" like, a "trump crazy check" Yes, it will cost the nation billions more in various programs to rid the USA of the ugly stain this has left, but what other options are there?
If it does happen, I hope beyond hope they make him wear orange Crocs for the perp walk. 😂
Trump is going down-and that's a fact. The terms of the Espionage Act are pretty explicit and he has been caught with multiple instances of having forbidden property of the US government in his possession.
There is no defense against this that I can remember, and the last time anyone tried, they ended up hung. Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were executed as spies for having sold our nuclear secrets to Russia.
The question I have is: why did Trump think he would actually get away with this when it is well known that all government documents have to be accounted for, and just because he thought he could take them with him does not mean he has the right to.
He's fucked, but good. I hope the indictment is quickly forthcoming because I have no doubt that he's gonna do time.
And it will be the culmination of all the shit he put us through.
Thank you, Merrick Garland for not backing off, and calling Trump's bluff.
Now we see what kind of man Trump is, not that we didn't know about it before, but this makes it very clear that he is a criminal.
Flight risk would be to Saudi Arabia in my estimation. But who the hell knows with this traitorous fuck.
MSNBC says the search warrant shows trump is under investigation for violating the espionage act. Chiron right now.
In my past at UK Battalion level, I had to deal with all this stuff, and went through what was called positive vetting. Some of the Top Secret stuff was written by me to send upwards and land on the brigadier’s desk. Somewhat boring things written in the manner specified in the regulations in "Staff Duties in the Field".
I recall some amusing things, no longer secret, such as the Minister of Defence telling Parliament that no members of 22 SAS were serving in Northern Ireland (at the time). Well not only did I know, but I used to write their briefings. They would wander into our secured office looking like a bunch of reprobates and I would go through it. Later, they watched what we said needed watching, and we watched them watching, although you could never tell the devils were there. I was 23 years old and a Grade 1 private soldier in the Intelligence section. I did not get on with my boss, but I was good at my job. That was a hell of a dollop of responsibility

We can't get too ahead of ourselves because some of the "evidence" that was picked up by the FBI was in sealed empty envelopes; the boxes were not full; the safe did not seem to have what was said to be in it; we are hearing from an unknown source (So maybe not an FBI deep throat but... a Kellyanne Conway (EDIT TO ADD: whose husband was in the background doing evil shit, but is now lionized by the left ...when both helped funnel fake info via present SCOTUS Kavanaugh and Karl Rove in Clinton times); If indeed some FBI wore backpacks, are we seeing projection pre-planned (To plant is as likely as removing items) ; and, it takes a long time to assess a breach...
Imma gonna to wait and see... because if pre-planned, egg on the face is not a good look. Am I a conspiracy theorist? A skeptic who reads between the lines might be more accurate, being I saw Charlottesville plotted right in front of our eyes... David Bossie, Leonard leo, Bannon et al wave "hello..." https://twitter.com/ninaandtito/status/1042470467452514304
Cue up the "evidence was planted" defense in one... two... three...
