Ole Randy be dead.

The anti-government white supremacist, religious wackadoodle, possible lycanthrope, etcetera, is dead. That would be Randy Weaver known for the Ruby Ridge standoff. with the FBI.

I don't think it's unreasonable to wonder if he died of Covid. Of course, this is purely speculation on my part. He'll continue to be the poster boy for right-wing zealots for decades to come.

Yep he's a hero to some segments of society like neo-nazi's and portions of our fundamentalist right-wing xtians (shhh! some say these peeps are antivax!). All that said I certainly have little good to say about the FBI's conduct either. Neither are they friends of the Native communities (cointelpro) though they have ultimate jurisdiction on reservations.

Like many agencies and corporations, they have closed a number of their local offices. The inner agency joke (?) was if you were in trouble as an agent, you'd get sent to Butte Montana. Ha ha I was once in that office out of curiosity years ago. Now that office location is non-existent. I tried to contact them about a decade ago about some deal I got ripped on. Never heard a word back from them. The nearest office was in Denver I believe. When I was a kid in small-town MT, the biggest doper was the son of the local agent. Go figger eh? Nowadays the neo-fascists and their ilk are identified as the most dangerous "domestic threat" in the nation. Idaho was a beautiful and wonderful place in my mind as a child. I avoid it and all it has become since then. (looks like he's about half through transforming into the wolfman)
