My first cousin died from Covid early this year. He wasn’t college educated but he wasn’t stupid. He never posted any mask, Covid, or vaccine falsehoods.
I think he didn’t get vaccinated because he simply was unsure on the best course of action. He was flooded with lies from people like those on SAV and he hesitated. The wait and see approach was fatal.
When you read an antivaxxer post on social media remember the harm they are creating in society.
I still have a Facebook account but I don't use Facebook as much as I used to. I've visited various Facebook groups, and responded to misinformation with my own memes containing accurate information.
I got sick of Facebook misinterpreting and wrongfully flagging my posts. Facebook's censors (whether they're humans or bots) do not know the difference between posting about racism or covid misinformation and condoning those things!
This meme was flagged for "covid misinformation" and resulted in a suspension of my account:
Some time earlier, this meme (created in response to claims that God had chosen Donald Trump) was flagged as "hate speech":
Facebook is very hard to deal with. No matter how careful you are, you never know what might set off their alarm bells to suspend your account.
