Conspiracy nut: “They already have a cure for cancer, but they’re suppressing it so they can keep making money on chemo!”
Me: “If that was true, that would mean...”
Conspiracy nut: “Of course it’s true! If people stopped getting cancer, they would lose all that money they make from chemo!”
Me: “In order to keep that a secret, it would...”
Conspiracy nut: “It’s definitely true! If the secret cure gets out, they would lose all that money they’ve been raking in!”
Me: “I see your point, but for that to be true, it would mean...”
Conspiracy nut: “Of course it’s true! If people stopped getting cancer, they would lose all that money they make from chemo!”
If you ever encounter one of these again, just say, “med beds”. And let the good times roll. You will be leap-frogging into the alien tech convo IN MERE SECONDS. Trust me on this.
Well, slap my ass and call me Sally! Huh, well shit, what the hell was I thinking all these years when I go in for my annual skin check. I do this because back in the 90s when it was cool to bake yourself in the sun and on tanning beds, I did both. I shouldn't have, but I did. When I was a kid I had a large mole between my shoulder blades (this is when I was in the 3rd grade), and it freaked out my Mom enough to want to have it removed. Thankfully it wasn't skin cancer, but better be safe than sorry, right?! Knowing this I still cooked myself, cause well, I just did, and when I was in my 30s I went into my derm, and I was worried about a couple of moles, the one I was worried about she removed, and asked well since I am back here do you want to remove the one next to it even though she said it didn't look like anything to worry about. Silly me, I said yes. Well, thank god for "silly" me, because when the results came back the one I was worried about was fine, the one neither of us was worried about came back to be Melanoma! I had to go back and have the rest of it dugout, and I ended up with an 8-inch incision. ( I am not one to care about scars, except around my face/neck/chest/arm area).
Hell, if I had known there was a "cure" don't you think ALL these people who have it, especially the parents who have children who are sick/dying would have made sure they had released the cure?! Those ass clowns will say and argue anything in order to feel as though they are superior and they have ALL the answers.
Moreover, President Joe Biden's son Beau would be alive today, because believe me when I say this, that man would have moved heaven and earth to get his son the cure, as would ALL of the other parents the world over.
There is NO winning with these people, it's best to leave dog shit alone.
Those idiots have been saying that for years. My husband is a cancer survivor thanks to the doctors and radiation.
