Not that I have trolling capabilities (No) but no, I wouldn't. Remember the guy who has no legs and he can't get a transplant because he won't get vaccinated? I read about him before I was even a member of this site. In an interview, his father was in tears, begging his son to get vaccinated. When his son dies, I wouldn't be a party to adding to that pain.
So as not to sound like a hypocrite--someone shared an acrostic they had posted on a memorial wall. It was a subtle message which would be hard to see unless you knew where to look. It was brilliant.
I am not a fan of leaving messages on dead folks’ (even anti-vaxxer morons) obituaries. My reasoning is thus: they are dead already from their shitty choices and my experience is this far into the pandemic those not already vaccinated are pretty much set in their ways. How else can they look at the millions dead and the billions alive and vaccinated and still choose to refuse the vaccine? Seems almost as masturbatory as prayer to leave snarky comments on obituary tributes—makes the one engaged in the activity feel good but does not serve any better purpose. YMMV
Tanner, at the risk of being bullied and boo’ed, I personally would never do it. I think it’s pretty low. My concern is for kids, who might find solace or comfort in looking at memories of their loved ones. It just seems mean. I truly believe in live and let live, but what do we become when we act like asses. people are going to do it, in my very humble opinion, it goes against everything this site was supposed to stand for
Oh, virtual! My mind was picturing brick and mortar walls, well, because my mind is currently made of such material. It is a good topic. I reposted a link to the trolled one for no-neck last night. I’d been scrolling old comments after work and found the link. Well, I clearly didn’t load enough of the memorials to see the penises and the other porn posted. I think it went too far. I love, love the witty pro-vaxx posts. I do not care for the low rent bullshit that just makes us look like the ghouls they accuse us of being. Too easy for an R sleeper cell to hide amongst us and make us look like their sort of trash. So, I prefer we use our wit to eviscerate the idiocy. We certainly don’t lack that. My primary concern was that no-neck’s poor elderly mom would stumble upon the prolapsed asshole. Her email could be linked ot funeral home notifications. Not cool. Plus, the funeral home certainly doesn’t need to deal with any of it. And why leave the Sorryantivaxxer logo there? That seemed a titch like a ratfuck. I guess I draw the line at dick pics and blown out assholes. Even though that dude was both.

I don't troll the FB pages or the obit. The families are suffering enough plus many have children and grandchildren.

Posting on funeral home memorial walls of AVers. Pro/Con/Ambivalent. Seems there might be a topic in there.
Need more info. In a flare today, not the sharpest bulb in the sky drawer.
