My husband and I are vaxxed and boosted. We have tickets to a Reggae/Ska concert at an outdoor venue. Today we scored tickets to see Hamilton at an indoor concert venue. Proof of vax, testing and masks are not required. This is the first time we have attended anything like this since the pandemic.

In an outdoor venue, I'd carry my mask and case out the event to see how crowded it is, wear the mask if needed. A more important accessory here in an American crowd might be a bullet-proof full body suit.
I would wear an N95 even in an outdoor crowd, but I'm avoiding crowds, so...
My wife seems to think we have gotten the all-clear and basically is all for maskless public fun, but I’m not. We’ve got a couple of new variants making hay now and our state’s hospitalizations and deaths are creeping up again. As Vaxxed and Thankful noted, this isn’t over and covid is still mutating. We have some protection being vaxxed, and maybe a little more if we’ve been exposed or had it, but the whole thing about reinfections is worrying.
I’ll be in more of a mood for public risks once I get a Moderna booster tailored to cover these more recent variants. Until then, I’ll remain cautious.
I'm still paranoid. My niece is not vaxxed yet. It's a no for me.
You have to decide for yourself what is best for you and your family.
