The amount of shit he put up with, I'm amazed he didn't throw his arms up, said "fuck this, die then" and left ages ago, it's what I would've done, he's perhaps the most resilient and most patient man I've ever seen and I hope he has a peaceful retirement.
I hope the rest of his life is awesome!!!
The man is 81. He deserves to enjoy his remaining years not having to deal with mouth frothing MAGA hordes threatening his and his family's life. He did what he could to save us from ourselves; some of us listened, and some of us chose to succumb to a preventable illness through conspiracy theories and spite. I wish all the best to the good doctor. May he have a long, healthy, and relaxing retirement.
