Did anybody get one of the new Moderna/Pfizer Bivalent vaccines yet (Wuhan Classic strain plus Omicron)? Just got mine today, Moderna Bivalent, as a second booster. (Had AZ+AZ+Moderna before that, has worked well as a combo). Feeling happy, time for a few beers to celebrate! 🙂

I got mine on Tuesday. No side effects whatsoever.
I AM NOW A BIVALENT-BOOSTED FUCKFACE.
Just got mine a few hours ago. Feeling a little under the weather but not too bad.
2 vaccine shots, 3 boosters. Vaccine shots made my arm sore, just like a tetanus shot, and I slept all day the next day. All three boosters resulted in almost no side effects, except a sore arm for #1 & #2. #3 didn't even cause that. Everyone in the immediate family is fully vaxxed, boosted, and just fine getting a new booster whenever the next round is available. It's the cost of living on Earth right now, I guess.
I did today! My arm barely hurts!
Anti-vaxxers say that if you need a booster shot, it means that the first shot "didn't work". And all the variants are made up by the government to try to scare us.
Quite a lot of things in the world need to be done more than once!
I got the Pfizer Bivalent vaccine (+ flu shot) Wednesday Oct. 12. Shot #5 for me. Feeling good.
Just got my Moderna Bivalent booster, which is a full dose. Last year's Moderna booster was @ half dose and had me in bed all day. Hit the gym afterwards to minimize arm soreness and am taking tomorrow off to recover from any side effects.
I took my elderly mother to get hers, and I go Friday. It's actually sold out in a few places around me, so I think that's good.
Had mine almost 3 weeks ago! It was my 5th Covid shot. Still testing negative every week!
Remember those of us who are working 50+ hours a week so we can continue to keep everyone vaccinated! There’s a reason I haven’t been posting much lately. Sheer exhaustion!
Got mine. WAAAAY better! The first 3 Moderna took me off my feet for a day with chills, fatigue, shaking, etc. but this one had very minimal side effects. Slight headache and slight loss of appetite was all.
Longtime reader, first post. Two weeks ago I got the Moderna bivalent for omicron. One week ago the family went to dinner to celebrate the birthday of a friend's son. Guess which member of the family I am in the picture below. They say a booster takes a couple of weeks to get up to full effectiveness but in my case it took care of business promptly. My wife and I had gotten a booster in April but it was aging out. My kids weren't allowed a booster since access was limited to people over the age of wrinkles.
Almost a month ago. Hoping it covers the next few strains because collectively it seems most regions here in US have put covid in its rear-view mirror despite it still killing people.
I'm inventing a cocktail in your honor! Vodka martini with raspberry and basil.
Got mine 2 weeks ago. So total: 2 vaccines and 3 boosters (I am 64). Maybe that's enough for awhile? So far, so good.
Congrats, babe! Will be getting mine in November.
Got Moderna bivalent on Sept 7. (Had Flu shot at same time.) Sore arm, sleepy for a day No other issues or problems.
I had the Pfizer bivalent, it was my 5th Covid shot and I had the flu shot at the same time. Cheers to your beers!
