The other day I heard an MSNBC interview with Neal Katyal, who has served as a high-ranking lawyer in government. He said Psycho Donnie probably will not do jail time, for one, because how could the secret service guard him there? It just won't work.
Besides, Donnie knows he's looking at the rest of his life in court. With all the lawsuits against him, he'll end up losing everything. Since Donnie prizes money over everything, wouldn't his financial losses be more satisfying than jailing him?
I'm giving that a big FUCK NO. If he'd been impeached and removed from office, he could have lost his secret service detail, along with all the other privileges of an ex-president. Why is it any different bringing charges afterward? As far as the money goes, he's quite capable of raking in hundreds of millions from his witless fans*—at the same time the GQP is paying all his legal bills, even for his personal business crimes.

Today Weisselberg went down for his old boss, 5 months or more (depending on his ongoing cooperation against the Trump Corp) at Rikers at 75 years old. WHY WHY WHY are people still risking their life by associating with that mobster Psycho Donnie?
Liz Cheney to Psycho Donnie, upon her concession speech: "DON'T. MAKE. ME. COME. OVER. THERE!"
... "OK, NOW I'M COMING OVER THERE!"
Washington Post: Strangers huddled together under a tree. Then lightning struck.
For 4 years, we waited impatiently for the lightning bolt on Lying Crooked Donnie. And where was it?! Too late, lightning. Your target moved to Mar-A-Lago. Dammit!
Things are headed for an indictment and I refuse to believe Trump won't be imprisoned if found guilty.
He will of course never be jailed.
I doubt if Garland will step up. As with Nixon, there will be minor scapegoats.
Also I doubt he'll ever suffer financially. The Sackler case proved to me that money can buy verdicts.
The rot is too wide, too deep.
So, the USA slowly sinks, and democracy with it.
Having tfg in a cell would make it easy for the secret service to guard him. No traveling, no crowds, no unknowns. It would be a safe, stable environment, requiring fewer staff and less planning.
There's a stampede of witnesses coming forward, interesting to note people like Pompeo. That creep has long had an ambition to be president, so I'm sure he wants Donnie out of the way.
There's gonna be a major showdown in the GQP over the next year, all those chumps jockeying for position. It will be fun watching them eat each other alive. Since they all love guns so much, could they arrange a shootout at sundown or a cage-match-to-the-death?
I’d be happy if they just dig a pit for trump’s jail cell and build some guard houses around it so the secret service can keep trump safe from above.
And as members of trump’s detail get found guilty themselves, just kick them into the pit with him.
