The new booster is coming out in September, I believe. Had my last one in April. This week attended a day-long community ed event, held in smallish room. Small group- all vaxed, over 50. Got COVID.
I can't imagine choosing to roll the dice without being vaxed. Yesterday was miserable, plus will have to take a week off work. I'll admit, after over 2 years without catching it, I was feeling over-confident. Even thought I might be immune. Or that maybe the risk was slightly overblown. How silly of me.
My point is, if you're feeling antsy, and doing "normal stuff" is calling to you...hold on a few more weeks till you can get that booster.
My wife no doubt thinks I’m still too cautious. We also either haven’t had it yet or didn’t know when we were infected. I’m thinking it’s the former. At any rate, thanks, Ron, and hope you get to feeling better. I’m also waiting on that new booster.
